Today is World Diabetes Day so there couldn’t be a better time to shout out Dexcom! We were stoked to be back at it with our friends at Hawthorne to create another spot for the Dexcom G7, a system that eliminates the guesswork of managing diabetes at mealtime by measuring and sending your glucose numbers to your phone in real time. Pretty badass. 💪🏼 We had a blast on this shoot. Here’s a look behind the scenes!

These boots are made for walking (and literally everything else). 🥾💪🏼

We’re pumped to share our work on Thorogood’s campaign for the launch of their new Genesis boot with Director Evan Tanaka. We kicked off the collaboration by putting the boot through a variety of tests - how it bends, how lighting reacts to the leather, zeroing in on the fine detailing of its patterns and textures. With that info in tow we built a 3D model and brought it to life in a killer animation that shows off the craftsmanship in all its glory.

Here’s a peek at our work with Axon! We were tasked with creating a motion graphic explainer to introduce their revolutionary software, Draft One. A force multiplier for officers, Draft One leverages generative AI and body-worn camera audio to produce high-quality draft report narratives in seconds. Working closely with the Axon team, we determined the best ways to showcase the functionality and user interface of the software. We started by intaking the 3D model of the camera and developing photoreal textures and materials. We then incorporated engaging 2D visuals that smoothly transition into dynamic 3D animations, all while maintaining a strong focus on staying aligned with Axon's branding and message across all elements.

UNDER THE HOOD: Danny Lee x CALICO brought us on to help KEURIG announce their newest product, K-Rounds plastic-free pods. This project was the perfect brew of our favorite things - tabletop, motion design and COFFEE. It doesn’t hurt that this coffee will also be good for the planet. ☕

We’ve got you! “Roots of Comedy” is a docuseries that follows comedian Jesus Trejo as he journeys across the country to meet up with rising comedians and tell the “stories behind the laughs”. We were brought on by CALICO + Danny Lee to create the main title and graphics for this amazing series.

We had a blast creating these main titles for WHO IS STAN SMITH? with director Danny Lee, DP Larkin Donley and CALICO. 🎾👟 It’s not everyday you get to work on a project that calls for all of your favorite things (robot, tabletop, phantom, motion graphics, etc.) AND that is as impactful as this one.

Big love to Vayner Media who brought us on to their campaign for the new series “Big Mood”! We were asked to bring Vayner’s designs to life for billboards all over Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York, including the Godzilla screen in Times Square which stretches an entire block. When they say BIG MOOD they mean it.

Our Story

We began our journey as Bubba’s Chop Shop. Motion Graphics and editing were our main gig, and all of our work was post-production focused. Over the years, we have evolved from a post-production company into a content creation studio with the ability to take projects from conception to delivery. Branding, Design, Live Action, VFX, Animation, Post-Finishing. You name it, we do it. The only thing we don’t do is keep plants alive.

Moving forward we are Bubba’s LA. We are committed to serving our clients and creating connections through visual storytelling. Born out of necessity and realized through innovation, our commitment to creativity and quality will forever be the standard of Bubba’s.
