“God… are You proud of me?” 🤍

A child may not understand perfection.
They may not know if their drawing is beautiful, if their little creation is good enough, or if they did everything right.

Sometimes, all they want to know is:

“Did I do okay?”

And maybe that’s a question many of us still carry, even when we grow older.

We try.
We make mistakes.
We start again.
We compare ourselves to others.
And sometimes, we wonder if what we’ve done is enough.

But perhaps God doesn’t look at us the way we look at ourselves.

He sees the effort behind the little things.
He sees the courage to try again.
He sees the heart that keeps going, even when the result isn't perfect.

“You don't have to be perfect for Me to be proud of you.”

Sometimes, trying is already something beautiful.
And sometimes, the little things we almost overlook are the very things God sees.
