It follows the story of a reckless female detective, Xing Min, played by award-winning actress 黃璐 Huang Lu (best known for her work in Blind Mountain), as she investigates a murder case that eventually leads her to the cunning serial killer who’s responsible for 12 lives over the course of 15 years…
In hope of recreating the true criminal case to its full authenticity with a twist of suspense and an emphasis on female perspective, Candy kept her standard high on set. She told CFRTV reporter “There were a lot of different angles in this movie. Many times, we needed someone holding the camera by hand to follow the actor and shoot, and we had to practice focus 2-3 times before we really turned the cameras on, so typically we had to rehearse each shot many times.”
