Please sign this petition to LADOT to allow Metro trains to travel faster through Downtown LA to speed up trips to Santa Monica on Expo Light Rail Line by giving the trains all green lights. Trips from Downtown to Santa Monica could be cut from 46 minutes to 37 minutes.

Force LADOT to Provide Signal Preemption for EXPO Line threw downtown Los Angles and give priority to a three-car train, with maybe 250 people on it, sit and wait for vehicle traffic, which carries 1or2 persons per car?

My favorite transit movie is Speed. It centers on an out of control Santa Monica bus that ends at LAX and has a guy lose his head on the Red Line subway. In my opinion, number two is Pelham 123, a NYC subway train (I forget which line) is hijacked and negotiates. What's your favorite?
