Don Jackson is a Los Angeles-based entrepreneur, author, spiritualist, and motivational speaker with an impressive 35-year career in the music and entertainment industry. Starting off in music, Don quickly made a name for himself as a concert promoter, working with renowned artists such as MC Hammer, Boys II Men, The Gap Band, and New Kids on the Block. Holdings Inc., a seven-tiered entertainment and e-commerce enterprise encompassing a record label, concert promotion, event management, and ticket sales. With his private record label, JEA Records, Don released saxophonist Eldredge Jackson's debut album, "Listening Pleasure," in 2008, co-produced by the late NBA legend Wayman Tisdale. While growing up as a member of the nation's largest evangelical Black church in America, Don held a belief in religious boundaries. However, a transformative near-death experience led him to question these boundaries and discover his true identity as a spiritual being. In his book titled "Prodigal," Don shares his personal journey of leaving mainstream churches and finding his own path to spirituality. He challenges traditional beliefs and offers new and thought-provoking ideas on what it means to be connected to God and to one another. Through his work, he aims to inspire others to embrace their own self-guided spirituality and to reconsider the destructive patterns that plague our world.
