MTI Film is headed to Bologna!

We're thrilled to share that Shahrzad Behzadi will be representing MTI Film at the 40th edition of Il Cinema Ritrovato — one of the world's most beloved festivals celebrating cinema history, preservation, and restoration — June 21–24 in Bologna, Italy.

Organized by the Cineteca di Bologna, Il Cinema Ritrovato brings together archivists, filmmakers, distributors, and cinephiles for screenings across the city's historic theatres and under the stars in the magnificent Piazza Maggiore.

MTI Film is especially proud this year: our restoration work on Roger Corman's The Pit and the Pendulum will be screening on June 25th — a stunning example of the kind of care and craft that goes into bringing classic cinema back to life.

If you're attending Il Cinema Ritrovato, we'd love to connect! Join Shar for the screening, or reach out to talk restoration, your projects, or anything in between.

🎬 Big news from MTI FILM.

We're proud to announce the acquisition of Mango New Edit — the premier Remote Dailies and Avid Editorial services company founded by industry veteran Stan Cassio in 1994.

This is a landmark moment for what we can offer production clients. For years, productions have had to stitch together their post pipeline across multiple vendors and time zones. Now MTI FILM can be a true end-to-end creative partner — from the moment camera cards come off set, through editorial and VFX, all the way to final color.

✅ 30 years of Avid offline editing expertise
✅ Remote Dailies + color grading under one roof
✅ Global data centers across Atlanta, LA, New York, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Morocco & beyond
✅ Backed by MTI Remote's track record on Emmy Award-winning productions

Stan Cassio joins the MTI FILM family as SVP Post Production Sales, and together with our CORTEX, DRS™ Nova, and Flow Post Partners teams, we're ready to support productions anywhere in the world — at every stage of the creative process.

Set to screen. One team. One MTI FILM.

The Blu-ray release of MTI’s restoration of THE PINK PANTHER is available at https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Pink-Panther-Blu-ray/398627/

READ THE REVIEW
“The Pink Panther looks sensational now. I was floored by the quality of the visuals my system produced, and I cannot see how the native 4K presentation of the 4K restoration could be significantly better. (I do not have a 4K Blu-ray copy of it yet). Delineation, clarity, and depth are at what I consider 'reference levels', while the density of all visuals is outstanding. Perhaps the best news is that the 4K restoration is perfectly graded, which is why the entire film has a fabulous period appearance. Indeed, all primaries and supporting nuances are expertly set, and, perhaps unsurprisingly, the dynamic range of the visuals is pretty incredible. There are no traces of any problematic digital corrections. Image stability is excellent. The entire film looks immaculate as well.”
