What happens when you can’t see your friends perform during a pandemic? You ask them if they’d be interested in collaborating on a release. This is a long time coming, there have been many roadblocks but this is finally seeing the light of day. Total Annihilation Records is very excited to be putting out this limited 7”.

I was finally shelving my records today after moving them from my old apartment and into the house. I set this album aside when I unboxed it and just now listened to it. It’d been a while. We recorded it live with a small audience of friends about 15 people or so. It gave it a very warm and festive vibe. I remember thinking that this was exactly what I wanted my studio to be like, people making records their way. Giving musicians a space where they could execute their ideas without worry of someone telling them they can’t. The Petrojvic Blasting Co, Crater Farmer, El Haru-Kuroi, Clint Heidorn, BoorBaar, Brian Walsh, Dorian Wood, Princess Pangolin, all of these and many more were early patrons of Total Annihilation Studios and I’m humbled that they trusted me to capture their creations..it’s the coolest thing to have a recording that brings back all these memories of such fantastic friends and moments. These folks really helped build my and the studios reputation. I’m very thankful

Got a copy of the new album. We were able to get the drums and bass recoded live before my protools rig began acting up. Glad they were able to finish it and I was able to get a completely new rig. Always fun working with and listening to these guys. Catch them in tour, they’re currently on the road.

Extremely excited to add these to my collection of gear. I tried them back in 2016 and they were outstanding in every application. Now that they’re available as 500 series units, it made them more affordable. Great job and They’re available on the Electrical Audio website.

Covid artifacts when and recoded and presented “Virtual Volumes”. It was really great to be back in the studio especially with such great friends and amazing musicians. I think we all were very happy with how it turned out.

Happy Birthday, Steve. Besides Steve I met so many great people that I remain friends with at the humble studio in France back in 2014 at we created an online community that continues to support each other to this day. Steve was very down to earth, generous, curious and encouraging. He treated us as peers, often asking us what techniques we used on our own recordings we shared. I learned a lot but mainly it brought a sense of validation and greater confidence in my skills as an engineer.
