A man that provides can still become emotionally invisible just like the man who doesn’t provide, it’s just a catch 22 for all men in a relationship. Provision, connection, appreciation, attraction, respect, and shared purpose keeps a marriage alive. Boredom comes from routine, emotional disconnection, unresolved resentment, or simply taking family stability for granted not necessarily because the husband failed.
Social media has amplified this “Hyper-Curated Reality” by constantly showing women images of “better” men, luxury lifestyles, and rage-bait pandering messages like “You’re a queen you shouldn’t have to bring anything to the table; a real man will take care of you and your children etc.” Repeated exposure can distort expectations and make an ordinary, hardworking husband look inadequate compared with an algorithmic fantasy. Online content thrives on outrage and exaggerated claims because conflict always generates views and views generate revenue but in the real world, sustainable relationships require mutual contribution, emotional maturity, and shared effort from both partners no one-sided dynamic succeeds long-term the two must be in agreement before they can walk if not they will be stuck in what is called a validation loop where each partner find themselves looking for validation from everyone else including strangers instead of just communicating with each other. A couples therapist from another state or even another country can bring that level of neutrality. Someone with no allegiance to either side, no reason to protect anyone’s ego, and no interest in taking sides. Just an unbiased perspective that forces both people to confront their own actions, take accountability, and decide whether they’re truly willing
to fight for the relationship not just fight to prove they’re right.🧡
