Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience a judgement free recovery!! This path looks different for everyone. What is important is that we come together and support those people who are affected by substance use disorder instead of shaming them! Substance use disorder can affect anyone, including our close friends. The road to recovery is unique for each person, so let’s be sure to always show love and be there for our community. Statistics show that LGBTQ+ adults are almost twice as likely to have a SUD. Substance use is often related to stress caused by stigma, discrimination and harassment. I’m happy to share that I’ve partnered with to share such an important message!!! is a statewide campaign working to end the stigma around SUD in California! Learn more and access resources at ! Together we can end the Stigma.
