VLADIMIR IVKOVIC — "The challenging sets he delivers are not always easy, but almost always ingenious." Vladimir Ivkovic is a DJ. He’s more than that of course, but as his essence, Ivkovic is someone with a particularly unique talent for selecting records and weaving them into a larger – and often unusually compelling – narrative. Whether he’s broadcasting on the radio or piloting the dancefloor, Ivkovic is someone who applies a curatorial mindset and a deep love of music to all of his creative exploits. Yes, he’s a DJ, but he’s so much more than that; he’s a storyteller, a connoisseur and, most importantly, an artist.
KUNIYUKI TAKAHASHI – He is no doubt one of Japan's best kept secrets. International DJ's such as Joe Claussell, D**o, DJ Cosmo, Jimpster to name but a few, have been falling over themselves when they heard his produced tracks. Now, some of them have been releasing his works through their own labels. He has also been working closely with the soundofspeed crew over the past few years and releasing hisworks on their own label and performing live with them in their famed parties which are held regularly in Tokyo and sometimes in parties such as the Big Chill and in excursions to Austria and Europe. Check out the ever-consistent and surprisingly prolific producer out of Sapporo, Kuniyuki Takahashi!
MASHA MAR — Masha Mar is a DJ, producer, and promoter known to move dancefloors into blissful journeys, across moods and grooves. Masha cofounded the house music party Dig Deeper LA to showcase the vast spectrum of quality music hiding obscurely in forgotten crates. She champions independent radio with residencies on both NTS Radio (Beyond The Clouds) and dublab (Analogue Players Club). She’s released music on SOS Records, Femme House, Dusk Recordings and her debut EP on Night Prism.
LOVEFINGERS — ESP boss, DJ, producer, promoter, label and A&R manager, Andrew “Lovefingers" Hogge has worn practically every hat there is to wear in the underground dance music industry over the past two decades.
ESP darling hosts for the evening are Jamie Love, Nahla Wyld and Levi Sawyr. Come prepared for love and ecstasy!

Can’t express how honored we am to join the celebrations for what would be Andrew Weatherall’s 60th. Simply put, he’s a hero to us, as is David Holmes, and playing for the first time in Belfast for these two is a dream come true. Every time we danced to or shared a bill with the Guv, whether Two Lone Swordsmen at Fabric, ALFOS in the countryside, his monster dub session in Marrakesh, or our wonderful and long awaited night with him in LA (pic), he always brought something unexpected and different, an element of danger we’ve always looked up to. His early contribution and constant support of the ESP Institute meant the world to us, so this party being supported by the label is extra icing on the cake. Biggest love to David Holmes for the invitation… Lovefingers, Heidi, Juan can’t wait to join you tonight at Banana Block. 💜⚔️💜

ESP Institute and our friends Life & Times have something special planned next month during Coachella weekends! While the festival goes on in the low desert we’ll be in the high desert at The Copper Room (at Yucca Valley Airport) for our new program of musical bliss at… DIG!!!
Weekend 1 – Friday night April 14 we’re guided on cosmic excursion by Mojave local C.LOVE and LA’s founder of The Basement, DJ KERRY, while Saturday night April 15 we’re under the fatherly disco deliverance of BEARS IN SPACE.
Weekend 2 – Friday night April 21 mister Por Detroit himself, PERFECT LOVERS will be joined by an LA ray of sunshine JAMES AXON, while Saturday April 22 we close out with ESP boss LOVEFINGERS and partner in crime HEIDI LAWDEN.

We don’t usually post memorials on this timeline, but Ryuichi Sakamoto is so integral to our being, the way we hear, both the fulfillment and the longing that overtakes us when we’re one with music. He was a teacher, and we’re eternally grateful for his lessons. Rest in peace. 💜

Welcome TOM OF ENGLAND aka Thomas Bullock (Wicked Crew, Map Of Africa, Laughing Light of Plenty, etc, etc) back into our world. For those who have been in LA long enough to remember the infamous Blackdisco parties, you will def have memories of Thomas blowing minds, something different every single time, but always an enlightenment. Tom of England cut his teeth with Tonka Sound System, alongside fellow auteur DJ Harvey. That was a long time ago. Since then he started and left A.R.E. WEAPONS, introduced sound-system culture to San Francisco with The Wicked Crew, threw some of the most legendary NYC parties under the name Rub N Tug, released a bunch of amazing music under a s**t load of alias's and most importantly got us waved with the mescal he has been importing from his familia in Mexico. All aboard.
In the spirit of this special family reunion, we've also pulled together a gaggle of Golden Girls — LA staples BEARS IN SPACE , ESP Institute's LOVEFINGERS and Por Detroit's PERFECT LOVERS will be serving a special b2b2b2b o**y to keep things spicy.
