Japan gave us Godzilla. Korea gave us The Host. Now, Thailand is throwing their hat into the kaiju ring with the epic monster movie The Lake.

A gigantic and bloodthirsty monster emerges from a lake after its egg is stolen and unleashes its fury on a town's inhabitants, leaving a trail of destruction and death in its wake. The town of Bueng Kan, now cut off from the outside world, must mobilize its officials and citizens, as well as a group of scientists that are in town conducting research, to catch this predator before it's too late.
Lee Thongkham (The Maid) and Aqing Xu co-direct from a script by Thongkham. Lamyai Haithongkham, Sushar Manaying, Teerapat Satjakul, Thanachart Tulyachart, Vithaya Pansringarm, and Wanmai Chatborirak star.
Jordu Schell (Cloverfield, The Mist, Predators) designed the film’s giant creature, which is brought to life using a blend of practical animatronics and CGI.
The Blu-ray includes both the original Thai and English 5.1 and 2.0 audio tracks and optional English, English SDH, and Spanish subtitles for the main feature.
