A BOY VISITED THE GRAVE OF HIS ADOPTIVE MOTHER, WHOM HE RESENTED IN LIFE, AND FOUND AN ENVELOPE WITH HIS NAME ON IT
When Stuart was 13, illness took the life of his adoptive mother, whom he never fully accepted. She tried, but she could never really reach his heart. She raised him on her own after adopting him as a single mom.
Nine days after her passing, her best friend, now Stuart's guardian, approached him and said, "You should visit her grave. She left something there just for you." In fact, it was only after her death that Stewart realized that he would miss her. And that's why he decided to visit her grave.
When he arrived, he really spotted an envelope resting nearby with "For Stuart" written on it. Opening it, he was completely unprepared for what he saw. The letter began with the words, "From your biological mother."
As he started to read, Stuart dropped to his knees, tears streaming down his face.

I WENT TO PICK UP MY WIFE AND NEWBORN TWINS FROM THE HOSPITAL — I ONLY FOUND THE BABIES AND A NOTE.
I can't explain the excitement I felt as I drove to the hospital to bring Suzie and our newborn twin daughters home. I had spent the past few days decorating the nursery, cooking a big family dinner, and planning the perfect welcome. I even picked up balloons on the way. But when I arrived, my excitement turned into confusion.
Suzie wasn't there. I just found our two sleeping daughters and a note.
My hands shook as I unfolded it: "Goodbye. Take care of them. Ask your mother WHY she did this to me."
I froze, rereading it over and over. What the hell did this mean? Where was Suzie?
I asked the nurse, my voice trembling. "Where's my wife?"
"She checked out this morning," the nurse said hesitantly. "She said you knew."
Knew? I had no clue. I drove home with the twins, my mind racing, replaying every moment of Suzie's pregnancy. She seemed happy — or was I blind?
When I got home, my mom was there, smiling and holding a casserole. "Oh, let me see my grandbabies!"

My grandpa recently died and his lawyer called us all together.
He announced that all his money (millions of dollars) should be evenly divided between my three siblings, and I would get only the old, shabby apiary and that was it! It hurt me a lot because I was the one looking after him in his last years.
But I was ready to accept it because I loved and respected him. However, when everyone left, the lawyer asked me to stay. He said, "Your grandfather loved you the most. He wanted to keep it a secret from your siblings. Here, take a look."

So, this happened a few months ago. I came back from a business trip a few days early and caught my husband with his mistress at our house. I immediately confronted them. But you know what he said?

MY HUSBAND ASKED ME TO BRING DINNER TO HIS SICK MOM – ON MY WAY THERE, MY LAWYER CALLED ME SHOUTING, "GO BACK NOW!"

My MIL, Linda, had been sick for days. On Wednesday evening, my husband Matt and I were set to finalize a huge milestone: buying the house we'd rented for five years. But Matt pulled me aside, looking worried.

"Mom's not doing well," he said. "She hasn't eaten all day. You should bring her dinner."

I hesitated. "We have that meeting with the real estate agent soon," I reminded him. "Can't we send takeout?"

He frowned. "Takeout? She needs homemade comfort food. You know she loves your lasagna."

Torn between our plans and wanting to help his mom, I caved. Maybe this would mend things between Linda and me — she's never really seen me as a part of the family.

I spent hours cooking the lasagna and, at 6 p.m., packed it up and drove to Linda's house, 40 minutes away. Halfway there, my phone buzzed. It was my lawyer, Sarah.

"Go back home. NOW. THEY'RE AT YOUR HOUSE," she shouted, her voice urgent.
