šŸ“½ļø Don’t let AI dull your instincts.

The tools are getting better every day. That’s not the differentiator.

Taste is.

We’re entering a world where millions of people have access to the same models, the same prompts, the same workflows, and the same technology. Technical proficiency alone won’t separate you.

Authorship will.

Just because someone knows how to operate a tool doesn’t mean they know what to create with it.

Give one person an iPhone and another person an ARRI Alexa. The person with a deeper understanding of storytelling, composition, emotion, timing, and human experience can still create the more impactful film.

The camera was never the magic. The storyteller was.

AI can accelerate ex*****on, but it can’t replace years of observation, curiosity, cultural understanding, artistic judgment, and lived experience.

Keep studying.
Keep making.
Keep refining your eye.

In a future flooded with AI-generated content, taste becomes the signal.

Everything else becomes noise.

Today we stepping on stage at to talk about something I’ve spent the last five years figuring out: how AI is collapsing the distance between imagination and experience.

We’ve gone from filmmaking → worldbuilding → worldmaking. The same immersive work that used to take three years, massive teams, and studio budgets — we can now prototype in weeks.

But here’s what hasn’t changed: storytelling still leads. Technology follows.

Ran a quick storytelling test.

A 60-second micro drama in 16:9 using tools like using Nano Banana and Veo and

But this wasn’t about perfection. It was about learning.

Learning how these tools can help us prototype ideas faster, explore tone, test scenes, and visualize moments before stepping onto a real set.

Think of it like a director’s sandbox or sketchbook.

The real goal isn’t replacing production.

The goal is accelerating us toward it.

So when you finally bring in your actors, crew, cinematographer, and production team, everyone already understands the vision.

Story → prototype → collaboration → production.

That’s the future I’m excited about.

Curious what you think.

Are tools like this helping filmmakers move faster toward real production?

JOIN US! March 2nd | 3PM PST

When the Eaton Fires hit Altadena + Pasadena, our students didn’t just capture damage.

They preserved hope.
They preserved resilience.
They preserved history.

Through GRX Immersive Academy, we ran the Immersive Storytelling Academy in collaboration with
Pasadena Unified School District + Equation to Success

With support from
AGOG + Arizona State University.

Students + XR Ambassadors used:
360 cameras
Gaussian Splatting
Spatial capture tools

To:
• Reconstruct fire-affected environments in 3D
• Rebuild artifacts from the fires
• Turn lived experiences into immersive XR narratives

This project also served as hands-on applied training for our XR Ambassadors — building real workforce-aligned immersive production skills.

The academy was featured live on Good Day LA on FOX 11 Los Angeles.

šŸ”„ Join us March 2nd at 3PM PST
LA Fires + XR: Using Gaussian Splatting and 360 Filmmaking for Immersive Storytelling
