Another award-winning FMRL Media production continues its film festival tour! Thank you to the prestigious and very important IRC!
Don’t forget! Tomorrow at 6:30 pm the USD Humanities Center and MSHA at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice present the International Rescue Committee in San Diego's annual Refugee Film Festival, a fundraiser supported by the Otto Family Foundation. The screening for tomorrow’s film, Fire Within ፍትሕ documentary directed by Christopher Chambers, will be accompanied by expert speakers from the community of displaced persons the International Rescue Committee serves.
A FIRE WITHIN chronicles the incredible true story of three Ethiopian women who immiU.S. after surviving torture in their home country, only to discover that the man responsible for their torture is not only living in the US but is employed at the same midtown Atlanta hotel as one of the women.
