“The Blue Passage.” This is my most mixed media piece yet. And one of my favorites.

3D scans from a real location, photos of my own drawings, and motion capture to animate the character.

Even though it’s digital work, it carries so much from the real world. And I always love that.

Especially now, with the rise of AI, it matters more than ever that real effort, experience, and reality are embedded in the work.

“The Blue Hour Run” I wanted a painterly look for this render, and I’m quite proud of how it turned out. I also developed a custom cloud shader, and I’m really happy with how soft and painterly the clouds look.

I also plan to make an animated version, I hope you enjoy the stills!
