It was an honor to be able to connect and collaborate with the legendary Chez Damier on this track. It constantly reminds me of one of the best parts of the underground music scene, all the people I get to meet and know over the years. It was a massive bonus to release this on my own Jealous Records - working almost as a significant marker of my life in the music scene. A while back DJ Sneak called out artists like Swedish House Mafia for faking their way to the top via tactics like ghost producers, manipulating chart sales, pre-recorded sets, and general lack of substance. Rob Nutek and I joined in the protest and produced a track that supported Sneak in shining a light on this inherently anti-underground behavior.
