Redick stated he’s "pretty confident" in three of his starters being Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves, and Walker Kessler.

Beyond that? He joked that the final two spots definitely "will not be two white guys", leaving the rest of the lineup open with a laugh that has the league talking.

With elite playmaking from Luka, perimeter punch from Reaves, and rim protection from Kessler, the foundation is locked in.

The real question now is who fills out the rest of the starting five.

The Los Angeles Lakers family has lost a true legend.

Lawrence Tanter, the longtime public address announcer who spent 43 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers from 1982 to 2026, has passed away at the age of 76.

For more than four decades, Tanter’s voice became part of the identity of Lakers basketball.

Generations of fans heard him introduce some of the biggest names and biggest moments in franchise history, making him a familiar presence through multiple eras of Lakers basketball.

Tanter retired from PA announcing in June 2026, just three months ago, closing an incredible chapter that lasted more than four decades.

His voice was part of countless nights in Los Angeles, and his impact on the Lakers experience will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Lawrence Tanter.
