From the years of 1991 to 1993 I spent my summers as a cast member shooting the hit television show . If you’re not familiar with the history of the show you should head to my story and read the article that came out today about it and our sister show which aired next to our show.

My memories from working on this show are some of the best of my childhood. I didn’t have a “normal” childhood and that was my choice. I wanted nothing more than to chase my dreams of being in the entertainment industry and due to my family supporting my dreams I was able to do so. The kids I shared the screen with on this show were my family and we had the best of times filled with games, joy and laughter. I auditioned for the show amongst thousands of other children and wanted to book it so badly. I had been watching the show since I was 7 years old and it seemed surreal that I had an opportunity to be on it!!! When I booked it I felt like all my dreams came true!

After reading the Vanity Fair article I hope that the show gets picked up for a reboot and nothing would make me happier than to choreograph it for the new generation and give them the experience I had working under the choreographic legend that is ! She taught me so much about choreographing for camera and the lessons live with me today ❤️ Those were the best of times! I hope you enjoy a quick stroll down memory lane.

And that’s a wrap on Season 7! Thank you to the students, parents, families, studio owners & directors, faculty, assistants, staff & crew for an incredible season! Most of all thank you to my hubby for being my glue because lord knows 25 cities broke me into pieces! Love you all and can’t wait for next season! ❤️
