Cam Skattebo is the new face of running backs in the NNFL

Last year, it was Saquon Barkley.

But since the NNew York Giantsinstalled the rookie out of Arizona State into the starting lineup in Week 3, Skattebo has taken over New York City.

In his Thursday night head-to-head against the man who easily could've won the MVP last season, he was clearly the better back.

And it wasn't even close.

🔸Skattebo - 21 touches, 110 yards, 3 TDs

🔸Barkley - 14 touches, 67 yards, 0 TDs

The Giants dominated the run game and won easily at home.

The PPhiladelphia Eagles on the other hand, have totally abandoned the run game this season, and Saquon has gone from MVP hopeful to 22nd in the league in rushing.

And as of Week 3, he's not even the best back in his own division. In fact, it's not even close.

🔸Barkley - 55 carries, 177 yards, 1 TD

The Giants may be just 2-4, but with Skattebo and Jaxson Dart now in control of the offense, they may just be the most exciting team in the league.
