Born and raised on the remote islands of Kauai and Oahu, Harding grew up surrounded by Hawaii’s breathtaking natural landscapes. This upbringing shaped his adventurous spirit and his lifelong passion for exploration. His early achievements as an Eagle Scout laid the foundation for the storyteller, traveler, and environmental advocate he would become, preparing him for a career that has taken him across all seven continents.

If this is the case for your dog, work with your vet and contact a homeopathic veterinarian to work out a plan for long-term care and healing. Most “allergies” are sensitivities. As veterinarian Peter Dobias observes, “If we consider that almost 80 percent of immune system function resides in the gut, there’s no surprise that heavily processed foods, poor quality ingredients, drugs and vaccines, toxic stances, and food preservatives can get the immune system into overdrive and make it overreact.”

Many sensitivities are triggered by the presence of undigested proteins in the small intestines, which cause inflammation and can lead to a leaky gut, where the gut lining thins, becomes permeable, and allows “leaks” into the bloodstream. This causes extreme sensitivity to normal foods.”

The Eden Magazine’s March Issue: Honoring the Brave Heroes of LAFD

In our March issue, The Eden Magazine proudly honors the courageous firefighters of the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) for their relentless efforts in battling wildfires and protecting our communities.

To gain a deeper understanding of their work, we visited LAFD Fire Station 114, the Air Operations Section, where we witnessed firsthand the incredible dedication, skill, and resilience of these heroes. From evolving firefighting techniques to the immense challenges they face in the field, we explored what it truly takes to be on the front lines of fire suppression and emergency response.

Our feature sheds light on the vital role these brave men and women play in safeguarding lives, homes, and the environment. It also highlights what the public should know about fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and how we can support those who risk their lives for our safety.
