Happy Lunar New Year everyone! On Feb 12 at 11 am on Facebook live with Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles and NBC4. Join us in celebrating the Lunar New Year and enjoy the 123rd annual Golden Dragon parade virtually through an innovative, original 2D animated production, titled “Through the Eye of the Dragon” a Three Flames Pictures production produced by Dee Dolgoon Batjargal and Trevor Morgan Doyle. Let The Chinese Lunar New Year come to life through the mythic story of the 12 zodiac animals and how, with the help of AAPI people and the benevolent Golden Dragon, they overcame the Evil Nian.
Mixed with live footage and original Poetry covering AAPI history written by Award winning writer Howard Xiao. The Ox will be passing the reins to the Tiger, who exuberantly embraces 2022, and all the exciting milestones and promise it brings.
The animation will feature AAPI celebrity voices including The Golden Dragon, voiced by Ron Yuan from Disney’s “Mulan” and Rabbit, Voiced by Robert Chiu from “Over The Moon.
