LINEUP CHANGE: Nick Lie is now the second listed guest for this week’s workshop!

This Thursday (5/20) at 8:00PM PST, join the Film and Photography Society and UCLA Photo Club’s Photography Panel to find out how to level up your photography with Jeff Lewis, Nick Lie, and Giannina Fredo! We will be taking submissions for virtual and photography-based scripts no longer than 10 pages on APRIL 16TH by 11:59 PM PT! Like our two previous quarters, all of our films will be filmed virtually via Zoom, so let’s make sure to follow all of our guidelines detailed in the Linktree in our bio! Crew applications will be out during the beginning of Spring Quarter!

Look no further than joining our executive board! Applications for the president position are due on March 19th and general executive board applications are due on March 29th! What’s going on this week for FPS? Well, we’ve got a star-studded line up for you all! On Wednesday, February 24th at 6:45 PM PT, we have the Campus Movie Festival Premiere! Join us as we walk the virtual red carpet and (hopefully) see our 3 films presented in a line up of 20! Let’s SWEEP CMF this year against various films that were submitted nationally!

Hi I'm Neeraj! I've been in FPS since the first day of my freshman year. I'm interested in a lot of aspects of film, especially editing and visual effects. I've edited 5 films for FPS (3 of which made it into film festivals!! ) and have worked on many more outside of the club. During my workshop we'll re-edit a scene from a short film to understand what editors think about while working on a scene. I hope you're as excited as I am!
