For the two decades (and with over 2,000 placements and counting), Celebrity Eyeworks has been providing high-quality eyewear to the Motion Picture and Television industry, presenting glasses on the faces of the biggest celebrities in some of the biggest shows. Fashion eyewear stylist Todd Hirsch operates out of his showroom a few minutes north of Hollywood, CA, working with Prop Masters and Costumers to find the perfect match for a show’s actor, and the character they are portraying. With ties to the Entertainment Industry since he was a mere 15 years old, Todd Hirsch entered the family business in early 2011. With a professional background over the last 20 years in Marketing & Public Relations -- as well as a passion for vintage eyewear -- Todd is the resident Optical Stylist for the Entertainment Industry. With each new show that comes through the door, be it a TV sitcom pilot, longtime cable network drama, indie film, commercial, or big budget star-driven blockbuster, Todd attacks each new project the same way: with fervor, dedication, professionalism, attention to detail, and a big sense of FUN, all the while providing Prop Masters and Costumers with the consistent level of excellence and service that they've come to expect from Celebrity Eyeworks.

Finished some work yesterday on a new project with Ben Stiller…👏🏻🎬🎥

Can’t really talk about the production until it gets closer to the premiere, but I’ll just say that it’s with 🍎📺😉

Ben selected some GREAT pieces that I presented to him👓🕶️:

from Matsuda, the design-forward M3146, M3148, & M3149 frames

from Alexander Daas, the retro-inspired “Zachary”

and from Smilen Eyewear, the always stylish Broadway “Manuel” in crystal, and the Gotham 148 and Broadway “Alberto” frames, both in black!

Might be doing some additional styling for the show when filming begins in a few weeks, so stay tuned!

Both Oscar nominated and Emmy winning, he designed with mastery in many genres. Career highlights include celebrated science fiction TV classics from “Battlestar Galactica”, “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”, and “Knight Rider”, to the historical tour de force television series “Quantum Leap” and the beloved film “Somewhere in Time”, starring Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Plummer (probably my Mom’s and my favorite romance drama).

Jean-Pierre was also an exceptional artist. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art counts several of his sketches and costumes in its collection, and he has been exhibited at many other museums.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments I received privately regarding the promotional video I made for my business Celebrity Eyeworks. However, a couple things were bothering me cuz the logo wasn’t as clearly visible in the beginning & end, and I really love my logo (designed and created years ago by my good friend Joey Seeman ), plus I wanted to add more images of shows I worked on over the years that I really love…

So, I had an OCD moment and decided to redo the video to make the appropriate changes…✔️

So, here’s a repeat of the previous post, but much more pleasing to the 👁️ & exactly how I want it.

And to all my clients whose shows we collaborated on that are shown in this video, as well as those whose shows didn’t make the final cut of the video, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the many, many opportunities over the years where we worked together in creating magic for our actors & shows…I can’t wait to work with you once again!
