🇰🇭 Thailand Started This War – Not About the Border, But Their Internal Politics 🇰🇭
——————
BBC News has failed the principle of fair reporting by using a Thai reporter to cover a sensitive conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. This is not objective journalism — it’s bias. The truth behind the conflict runs much deeper than what’s being shown.
🔻 The Real Cause
Thailand is facing serious internal political tensions. The Thai military, controlled by the King, is in conflict with the civilian government led by the Prime Minister, who has no control over the army. To distract from this crisis, they’ve turned their attention toward Cambodia.
🔻 The Conflict
Thailand attempted to claim Ta Moan Thom Temple, despite the fact that it has not yet been ruled on by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Cambodia called for the matter to be resolved legally through the ICJ, but Thailand refused, fearing an unfavorable ruling.
Instead, Thailand launched F‑16 airstrikes on Cambodian military positions, immediately closed its borders, and evacuated over 40,000 people.
This is a show of force — not about national security, but about political dominance.
🔻 Escalation
Thailand expelled the Cambodian Ambassador and recalled its own from Phnom Penh, raising tensions even further.
🔻 The Truth
Cambodia has always pushed for peace and legal resolution. Thailand chose aggression — dragging Cambodia into its internal power struggle to display military strength and silence their political divisions.
🛑 This isn’t just a border dispute. It’s a political distraction. And Cambodia is being used as the scapegoat.
