Santa Ana River Review Santa Ana River Review is the official literary magazine for UC Riverside's MFA in Creative Writing & Writing for the Performing Arts.

Named for the river that flows from the mountains through the chaparral, The Santa Ana River Review was established in 2015 at the University of California, Riverside. The Santa Ana River Review is an online literary and arts journal dedicated to biannually publishing bold new works in visual art, nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and drama. Led by the students of the Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts graduate program at UCR, we work to publish literature and art that reflect the diversity of our community in Southern California and beyond. We are especially interested in publishing work by BIPOC and LGBTQ+ creatives. We eagerly await your best work, and are currently accepting submissions in poetry, drama, fiction, creative nonfiction and visual arts through Submittable. Click here to submit your work.
