Tammie Merheb-Chavez is a costume designer, paranormal investigator, and storyteller whose work bridges the worlds of history, fashion, and the unexplained. By day, she brings characters to life through costume design for theater and film. By night, she investigates some of America’s most intriguing haunted locations, uncovering the stories that continue to echo long after history has been written.

In 2017, Tammie started the acclaimed Hollyweird Paranormal Podcast, where she has investigated historic locations throughout California and the United States while interviewing leading voices in paranormal research, history, and folklore. Her work has expanded beyond investigations to include serving as a content creator for TRVL Channel, a consultant for the hit series Ghost Adventures, and a featured panelist at conventions including Parapod Fest, Scared & Alone, and Gold Country Paracon. She also continues her studies through the Rhine Education Center, further exploring the intersection of parapsychology and scientific inquiry.

This January Tammy is bringing an immersive presentation of Tammie M. Chavez👽 to The Symposium of Spirits that features original couture inspired by Sharon Tate, The Woman in Black, and the haunting stories that continue to inspire art, fashion, and paranormal folklore.

Day ONE in haunted St. Augustine and apparently I don’t know how to have a normal vacation. 👻😂

I checked into my mystical little Airbnb and immediately headed to GhoSt Augustine, booked a paranormal investigation for the following night, grabbed dinner at the allegedly haunted Prohibition Kitchen, wandered past Tolomato and Huguenot Cemeteries, and ended the night at the legendary St. Augustine Lighthouse for their Dark of the Moon experience. 🔦🖤

And THAT is where I discovered something that nearly made me kick myself…

YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN GHOST-HUNTING EQUIPMENT. 😭

You actually get time to explore and investigate parts of the lighthouse property — and my equipment was sitting peacefully back at the Airbnb.

Paranormal investigators: learn from my mistake. BRING 👏 THE 👏 GEAR. 👏

The lighthouse experience was easily one of my favorite things I did in St. Augustine. The history, the tragedies, the ghost stories and getting to roam one of Florida’s most famously haunted properties after dark? HIGHLY recommend.

And somehow…this was only Day One. 👻
