We are beyond thrilled to have led the English VO production for this incredible project. It was an absolute honor to voice direct every single heartfelt session and bring these characters to life.

Huge congrats to the brilliant director Phuong Mai Nguyen and the amazing team at SILEX Films for their outstanding work. We can’t wait for the world to hear it! 🍿

Ponki, a 14-year-old fox, has the voice of a little angel… but he learned everything (and more) from his cousin Garu. He knows things can go wrong —not out of empathy, but pure survival instinct— even though his fear always shows up late; his tongue runs faster than he does.

Garu is 16 years old and has a self-esteem so bulletproof that not even years of therapy managed to tickle it. It’s not that he lacks empathy… he just considers it optional. His favorite pastime? Roasting people’s looks and packaging it as “brutal honesty,” because apparently manners are overrated.

Behind the Scenes of Garu & Ponki is its co-writer, Paola Andrea Martínez - a graduate in Arts Education, trained in Colombian folk dance, and alumni of the school of fine arts in Cali, Colombia.

She has discovered a natural talent for writing, with five screenplays to her name, including two feature films currently in the financing stage and one completed short film.

She currently works as Development Coordinator at Verité
Colombia, where she combines her creative skills with project management.

Behind Garu & Ponki is its creator and director, Christian Jaillier (), an artist-author who brings together a wide range of skills and sensibilities. With a background that spans animation, stop motion, art direction, cinematography, and music, Christian has shaped a distinctive universe that feels entirely his own.

Within it, two curious and irreverent cousins set off on a journey without a map, convinced that everything is a game—until they discover that wherever they go, mischief comes with consequences and every choice leaves a trace.

Each stage of Garu & Ponki reflects this commitment: storytelling rooted in identity, a refined handmade craft, and a deeply personal point of view, where imagination and craftsmanship always move forward hand in hand.
