Since her passing, Koo has visited her grave almost every day at the Chin Pao San Cemetery in Taipei. He reportedly brings homemade food, sits for hours, and sometimes stays from morning until sunset. Before leaving each evening, he is said to gently kiss her grave. He also cleans her tombstone and watches old videos of her on his tablet, often wiping away tears.

Koo's devotion has taken a physical toll. He has lost significant weight, and his complexion has darkened from spending so much time outdoors at the cemetery. He has also moved to a home near the cemetery, as his previous residence required a two-hour commute each way.

A friend who visited the grave with Koo in February 2026 described the heartbreaking scene: Koo brought three lunchboxes, one for Barbie, one for his friend, and one for himself. He said, "Won-rae, say hello this is Hee-won," using Barbie's Korean name. The friend burst into tears and couldn't eat.

More than a year later, Koo still hasn't stopped. According to a source close to him, "Right now, his only focus is Barbie Hsu; nothing else matters".

A bride from Pennsylvania made family history by becoming the 11th woman to wear a wedding dress that has been passed down through her family for more than a century.

Abigail Kingston of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, wore the Victorian-era gown on her wedding day in October 2015, following in the footsteps of her great-great-grandmother, Mary Lowry Warren, who first wore it in 1895.

Over the 120 years since Mary's wedding, the silk and lace dress had been worn by ten other brides on Abigail's mother's side of the family. Her mother, Leslie Kingston, was the sixth bride to wear it for her wedding in 1977.

But by the time the dress reached Abigail, it was in fragile condition. It had turned brown, developed dozens of holes, and the sleeves were disintegrating. A local bridal designer spent more than 200 hours restoring the delicate heirloom.

Abigail wore the restored dress for photographs and during the cocktail hour, choosing to keep it safe rather than risk damaging it throughout the entire wedding.
