Am I Ok is a feature we got to help out with vfx a couple years back and has recently been featured on the front page of HBO’s Max streaming app. It’s a fantastic romantic comedy, and another example of the independent films we get an opportunity to team up with the directors and production people to help tell their story. Check it out now - streaming on Max!

Here’s another filmmaker that Wolverine has had the opportunity to collaborate with. Lola Blanche is an accomplished writer / director who worked with us on her film “Kissy the Shark”. One of our main sequences was enhancing the shark physical model in her film. We always enjoy working with independent and short films as it’s gives us an opportunity to take the time to listen and understand what the client needs to tell their story. Thanks for the support Lola!!

Our VFX Artist Nick Pitts created this CG render! Read on to hear what Nick had to say about the scene: "My goal was to create a moody scene that involved a horseback knight 3D scan I found from The Cleveland Museum of Art on Sketchfab. I limited myself to only using 3D assets I already made/owned or other free ones I could find online. I ended up also finding this bridge 3D scan from sketchfab. The rest of the assets are just some trees, shrubbery, and grass that I already had in my asset browser.
The mood I was aiming for also required a sense of realism. In order to help further achieve this realism, I used Wolverine's custom lens profiling pipeline to profile a lens I have at home. This, in combination with a custom film print emulation, helps to give a texture to the scene while also furthering the realism.
In the end, this final render was finished in less than a day's time (around 7 hours work total) and I am pretty happy with the results!"
