At Green Bee Life, we believe every guardian deserves a guardian.

Buddy’s story inspired this mission. His journey shows what happens when animals are left behind — abandoned, shuffled, or treated as disposable. Thanks to compassion and community, Buddy is now safe, loved, and finally where he belongs. 💛

This flag, proudly displayed at our home, marks the start of something bigger: No Buddy Left Behind — a campaign to raise awareness, support livestock guardian dog (LGD) breed rescues, and share resources that keep guardians safe, healthy, and truly at home.

Through Green Bee Life, we’ll be launching:
✨ Stories & education about guardian breeds
✨ Swag that carries the message forward
✨ A portion of proceeds donated to trusted rescue partners
✨ Insights into wellness, including how CBD helped Buddy heal and adjust

💛 About Buddy’s Journey 💛

Buddy has endured more than most dogs. His last family left him behind — surrendered him to a shelter while on vacation, where he narrowly escaped euthanasia after a traumatic incident. They reclaimed him, only to abandon him again when no rescue would take him. Fresh out of surgery, still recovering, he was cast off with nowhere safe to go.

We stepped in as neighbors — not through any rescue partnership, simply because walking away wasn’t an option. For weeks, Buddy lived in limbo. With compassion, patience, and the support of our community, he is finally settled. Out of respect for his safety, we can't share details, but please know he is understood, cared for, and now has both purpose and love.

Buddy’s journey inspired NoBuddy Left Behind — a new Green Bee Life campaign dedicated to raising awareness, supporting Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) rescues that give animals like Buddy the second chance they deserve, and uplifting the small farms and farmers who serve as true guardians of these guardians..

Once you start making your own infused oils and butters, there’s one thing you’ll quickly realize — getting the right infusion strength and/or dose makes all the difference! 🎯

🌿 Here’s a quick infusion cheat sheet:
Lighter infusions — perfect for everyday culinary herbs, salad dressings, breads, and drizzles.
Richer infusions — ideal for bold flavors, hearty baked goods, or when precise dosing is desired for your favorite recipes.

And if you’re curious about how to fine-tune potency when needed, here’s a simple guide:
🥄 2 mg per tablespoon of infused oil = great for lighter culinary creations like dressings, breads, and herb-infused oils.
5 mg per brownie = ideal for richer recipes or treats where precise dosing is involved.

DIY means you’re fully in control — whether you're infusing rosemary, garlic, citrus, or crafting something a little extra green. 🌿✨
