Ingredients:
For the Steak:

2 sirloin or ribeye steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Cajun Shrimp Sauce:

8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Sear the Steak:
Rub your steaks generously with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the steaks. Sear them for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until you reach your desired level of doneness. Once done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest.

Cook the Shrimp:
Using the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until they're pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Create the Cajun Cream Sauce:
Lower the heat and add the butter to the skillet. Sauté the minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream, allowing the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until it's fully melted into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bring It All Together:
Return the shrimp to the skillet and let them warm up in the sauce. Plate your steaks and generously spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce over the top. Finish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for that perfect touch.

Cajun Steak and Shrimp with Creamy Garlic Sauce 🍤🥩

Get ready to bring a taste of NOLA to your table with this spicy and savory dish that dances on your palate! 🌶️✨

Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1 lb steak
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
- Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Marinate the proteins
Start by seasoning both the steak and shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning, ensuring a good coating. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to soak in all those wonderful flavors.

Step 2: Cook the steak
In a large skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the steak in the skillet and sear it for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board to lock in the juices.

Step 3: Sauté the shrimp
With the skillet still hot, add a bit more olive oil if necessary, and then add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn a lovely pink color and are fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4: Make the creamy garlic sauce
Turn down the heat and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until it's fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently, and add the grated Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens slightly, around 3-4 minutes. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5: Plate and serve
Slice the rested steak and arrange it neatly on a plate beside the sautéed shrimp. Drizzle the rich, creamy garlic sauce generously over the steak and shrimp for that perfect finishing touch. Enjoy!
