The movie is led by Leonora Cooke as Stephanie, Sarah Coyne as Rachel, and Craig Andrew Robertson as Declan.

The movie is directed by Robertson, who co-wrote the screenplay with C.J. Lazaretti and Leonora Cooke. It is executive-produced by Alison M. Reid, D.M. Simons, and Kyle Wong, with Reece Steel serving as its producer. The creative team consists of cinematographer Calum Menzies, editor C.J. Lazaretti, and composer Aidan Smith.

“Christmas in Scotland is all about the three Bs: booze, binge-eating, and bickering with your family,” Robertson said in a statement. “If you do it right, you wake up on New Year’s Day with a replenished, stronger appreciation for your loved ones. TBUFF 2025 hasn’t even started yet but we already have to talk about closing it down. “Luderdale” will be the last film of this season left on the screen when it plays 2 weeks from tonight. Although Thomas Mills’ film is a California production, it’s set mostly in Florida (hence “Luderdale”) during the 1980s drug wars, and also features two actors from the Tampa Bay area, Rachel Lookshi and Joe Chambrello, who plays Mr. J, the dangerous enforcer that main character Hutch (John Gargan) finds himself indebted to. The film has more than just “Goodfellas” vibes, with a clever, twisty plot driven by top-notch acting from all, and Chambrello literally bringing it home to the Bay. “Luderdale” starts settling scores on Sunday 12/7 8:20 PM at Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival 2025, presented by Patriot Auto Glass.
