The name Pimp House comes from Carson's ability to get all the ladies on the dancefloor when he is spinning & spin them into an erotic, Ta***ic, Tribal Groove. Carson has been experimenting with his mix style since he began nearly three decades ago in 1997 when most of his audience was born, but it wasn't until 2017 that the first pimp house record was released "Pimp Respect (I Am The One)" the single and the album full of various pimp house tracks blending a fusion of and into sexy grooves.

Happy Halloween my friends! Whether you celebrate or not, be safe and have fun! The veil between worlds is very thin right now and soon it will be Dia De Los Muertros. To celebrate Dias De Los Mu***os "The Day of the Dead," I have been working on a bassline house minimal tech house track with Pedro Antonio Rosales De La Mota on vocals. It is sounding pretty sweet so far! I think I am going to do the album cover next.

The Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de (los) Mu***os) is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1 and 2, though other days, such as October 31 or November 6, may be included depending on the locality. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pay respects and remember friends and family members who have died. These celebrations can take a humorous tone, as celebrants remember amusing events and anecdotes about the departed. It is widely observed in Mexico, where it largely developed, and is also observed in other places, especially by people of Mexican heritage. The observance falls during the Christian period of Allhallowtide. Some argue that there are Indigenous Mexican or ancient Aztec influences that account for the custom, and it has become a way to remember those forebears of Mexican culture. The Day of the Dead is largely seen as having a festive characteristic.

Not much left to say about it other than it is banging out the box with tracks and releases from Nico Salazar, Arturo Garces, Josh Stone, DJ Mess, OM Daddy, DADDY COLA, Ganesha Cartel, and Jim Carson himself. Don't sleep on this incredible collection of sounds spanning Anahata Love Recordings, Cola & Lollipops, and White Label Group.

Jim Carson invented a new sub-genre of house music in 2017 called "Pimp House" with the release of his album "Pimp Respect (I am The One): Remixes. A true innovator and game-changer in the world of house music. Carson displays his strength and creativity through sultry, soulful grooves and uplifting melodies and funk. DJ Holly Adams was the first DJ to ever play the first pimp house record on her radio show and livestream broadcast called "Holly's House" in Santa Monica.

Carson handed the single "Pimp Respect (I Am the One) to her on a USB drive at the suggestion of radio station program director Brandon Anjeleno's insistence. Needless to say, it was a big hit with the station and the live audience in attendance. Pimp House had been released to the public in a big way.

Fast forward to 2024, with just over 500 releases under his belt, Carson continues the Pimp House tradition from Los Angeles and now to Bangkok, Thailand, the city he lives and makes music from while away from America.
