is one of the leading independent producers and distributors of programming in the worldwide television marketplace. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, the Company has rapidly grown in recent years from a commission-based distributor of third party programming into a global producer and distributor of a broad range of programming genres. The Company’s worldwide distribution division licenses general entertainment, family and children’s programs -- including live-action and animated series -- movies, factual and non-factual documentaries, lifestyle specials and reality programming, to television broadcasters and other ancillary distribution channels worldwide. The Company distributes programming which is produced both in-house and by third-party producers. In addition to maximizing the Company’s revenues through the optimal segmentation of end markets, MarVista’s sales team is responsible for identifying worldwide market trends driving broadcasters and distributors. Given the rapidly changing international marketplace, MarVista’s sales team thereby offers invaluable market data which enables the Company to make informed business decisions regarding the type of product it produces and distributes. Unlike the “build it and they will come” mentality which drives production decisions at many of its competitors, MarVista’s production division produces programming based entirely on market driven feedback directly from its buyers –- the end users. This ensures that the programming the Company produces or co-produces is not only creatively successful, but, most importantly, financially successful.
