I didn’t always agree with Charlie Kirk on every policy position — which is normal. Reasonable minds differ. My closest friends and family and I have those moments too. It happens. But those differences were never wedges.

What stood out to me about Charlie was his ability to communicate with clarity and conviction. He was unafraid to engage in tough conversation. And beyond politics, what mattered most was his faith. He knew Christ, he spoke Scripture and his belief was genuine. For that, I deeply admired him.

I hate violence. I hate it for anyone. As a people, we must choose life — we must celebrate it, and learn to accept each other even with our differences. We have to find ways to seek the good in one another, to stay humble, and to admit when we fall short.

My heart goes out to those who lost a friend, to the wife who lost her husband, and to the children who lost their father. And to the young people who witnessed the fall of someone they admired — it was a painful day for America.

Charlie set the bar — reminding me that the way forward is through faith, through honest communication, and through meeting people in the middle. It’s about having the courage to talk, to listen, and to keep the conversation alive.

Took my teen to her first Philadelphia Phillies game on a Friday night. ✨✨⭐️✨✨

The weather was beautiful, she saw her very first home run, we joined in on the wave, witnessed a marriage proposal, and even made it onto the Megatron.

She left with a Philly Phanatic doll in hand — honestly, it couldn’t have been a more perfect night. Now that’s a baseball game! ⚾️🧢🏟️
