Our very own Chris Schauble had the honor of emceeing the Heart of LAPD Wellness Walk, a powerful event dedicated to raising awareness for mental health and su***de prevention in law enforcement. 💙👟

The walk shines a light on the challenges first responders face and reminds us of the importance of compassion, connection, and community support in saving lives.

Honoring History at Japan House LA 🇯🇵✨

Our ‘very own’ Frank Buckley () moderated a powerful conversation with Paul Hiroshi Boyea and Terry Hara of the Terminal Islanders Association, who are leading efforts to preserve the final two buildings that remain from the once thriving Japanese American community on Terminal Island.

Over 3000 Japanese Americans lived and worked there before WWII until they were forcibly removed and incarcerated in internment camps, and the entire neighborhood was demolished.

The evening was hosted by Japan House LA and sponsored by the Japan Business Association of Southern California. Guests were also treated to a live tuna carving demonstration by a master chef. 🇯🇵🐟

Our ‘very own’ Wendy Burch () attended the 2025 Distinguished Citizen Award Luncheon, where Father Greg Boyle was honored for his decades of transformative work through Homeboy Industries. Father Greg is known for providing jobs and healing to formerly gang-involved Angelenos, and pioneering a global model of compassion and second chance 🎖️
