Pete Rose, MLB's All-Time Hits Leader, Passes Away at 83

A 17-time All-Star, Rose set numerous MLB records during his 24-year career that began in 1963. He retired as the all-time leader in hits (4,256), singles (3,215), games played (3,562), at-bats (14,053), and plate appearances (15,890). His accolades include three batting titles, two Gold Gloves, and the National League MVP award in 1973. Rose also won World Series championships with the Cincinnati Reds in 1975 and ’76, and with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1980.
