Over a century old, and still showing its true colors.

This late-1800s rug comes from the historic Gamble House in Pasadena, and we had the privilege of giving it a proper wash.

Watching the original colors come back to life was something special. A rug of this age is a reminder of what true quality and craftsmanship look like — when made well and cared for properly, these pieces can continue to look remarkable generations later.

We’re grateful to have been trusted with a piece of history.

A rug cut down doesn’t end with the cut.

Once resized, the new edge is carefully sewn and finished by hand to secure the fibers and give the rug a clean, finished look.

It’s all in the details—and the craftsmanship behind them.

The most satisfying part of the process. 💦

After our multi-step wash, seeing clean water come through with every squeegee pass says it all.

A clean you can actually see.

Sometimes you find the perfect rug… just not the perfect size.

That’s where a professional rug cut down comes in. We can carefully resize your rug to better fit your space, then finish the edges to preserve a clean, original look.

Love the rug, but not the size? We can help make it fit.

There’s something about watching that machine glide through the soap.

One pass at a time across this fully soaked silk Persian Tabriz—working through years of buildup as part of our full wash process.

Slow, thorough, and incredibly satisfying to watch.
