Episode 2 is about how trade schools can offer a great, more cost-effective option compared to getting an undergraduate degree. Hear about the trade school I attended and the first feature film (or featurette) that I was a part of, Instructions Not Included!

Welcome to Part 1! I wanted to kick off this series with an episode about the very first ATAEC Studios film, since I’m doing these in chronological order for the most part. Bear with me as I figure out my formatting and presentation, there’s a ton of information to pull from and it can be difficult to organize. Feedback appreciated!

Throwback 28; For a while I tried doing short-form content to see if people would like that better, but I found that it was a lot of work for very little content, so I didn’t stick with it. I’d never released this one because a horror/comedy with a potential copyright infringement didn’t really have anywhere to go, but I thought it was funny anyway and it has some great old friends from college in it, so here it is! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n765CDNKUpM

Throwback 26; This is a quick clip from the Couch Bros series that I was a part of several years back, shoutout to Couch Bro and to one of the worst haircuts I ever had! To be honest I don’t remember much from that day other than there was a photoshoot and I got free clothes from it, so that was cool.

Throwback 25; I was invited to LA Castle Studios in Burbank CA to record this video for the LA Castle Studios acting roster back in the summer of 2017. I was proud to add my name to the list and to record a professional video like this. I was always told that labeling myself as an actor/director was a bad move, even though those were the credits I had the most of, because people would assume I was a bad director or an actor that would be hard to work with. Eventually I started using ‘Director, Editor, Filmmaker’ instead and found people to be much more receptive to that combination.

Throwback 23; This was a promo video that I shot and edited for a live event called 'House of REM' at Mission Square, Whittier CA put on by the live entertainment company REM. It was cool to attend the events and then try to portray how they’d looked and felt as best I could, but I always felt the limitations of my equipment because my camera wasn’t made for low light environments. To get around this and still turn in a product, I focused on the light sources (turntables, strobe lights, fire, etc.) for the majority of shots and tried to use people getting in the way of those lights to show the size of the crowd.
