9 practical tips to help you beat procrastination and become more productive:

1- Stop making excuses:
The first step to change is to stop blaming external factors for your lack of productivity.
Take responsibility for your choices and actions!

2- Set micro-goals:
Break your tasks down into tiny, bite-sized pieces and set a goal to complete just one of them.
Once you've accomplished that micro-goal, you'll feel more motivated to tackle the next one.
Small steps are always more effective than giant leaps.

3- Gamify your tasks:
Assign points for each completed task, and reward yourself when you reach a certain number of points. Also assign punishments for failure, but ensure they have a net positive impact.

g.,
Do without your phone for a period of time, or work out on a rest day.

4- Follow the 2-minute rule:
If a task will take less than two minutes to complete, do it immediately.
It is the little things you put off that compound into big problems that overwhelm you.

5- Use the 5-second rule:
Whenever you find yourself hesitating or procrastinating, count down from 5 and then take immediate action.
This will help you overcome the initial resistance and gain momentum on the task.

6- Use the Pomodoro technique:
For longer tasks,
Set a timer for 25 minutes and work on a task without any distractions. Take a 5-minute break and repeat the process. After four Pomodoros, take a longer break.
This will help your mind stay fresh and prevent burnout.

7- Focus on progress, not perfection:
Often, it's the idea of perfection that holds you back from taking immediate action.
In reality, progress is more important than perfection.
Every step forward in the right direction is progress. And progress compounds to success.

8- Create a procrastination playlist:
Create a playlist of inspiring videos, affirmations, and uplifting music to listen to whenever you're low on motivation.
Sometimes all you need is external help to silence the inner critic and help you refocus.

9- Seek accountability:
Tell a friend, coworker, or coach about your goals and ask them to hold you accountable at all costs.
Relying solely on your willpower can quickly backfire.
