A HOLLYWOOD STAGE FOR THE STORIES THAT HAUNT US
Heart of Hollywood Magazine extends our sincere gratitude to YIYA International and its founder, Carrie Wang, for generously sponsoring the beautiful Hollywood headquarters that will host our upcoming Halloween Horror Flash Fiction Workshop.
There is something extraordinary about bringing writers, storytellers, filmmakers, and horror lovers together in the heart of Hollywood where imagination becomes story, and stories can become cinema.
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, participants will spend an inspiring afternoon developing an original horror story under the guidance of award-winning author and editor Sandy Rodriguez Sandy Rodriguez - LA Lifestyle and filmmaker and Heart of Hollywood Magazine founder Giovanna Salas Giovanna Salas
Participants will write, revise, receive professional and peer feedback, and leave with a Certificate of Completion. Selected stories will also be considered for the planned Heart of Hollywood Magazine horror anthology, with a digital eBook release planned first, followed by a print edition approximately one year later, subject to publication plans.
