In their inaugural home game, the LA Wildcats of the XFL lost to the Dallas Renegades 18-25. Wildcats quarterback Josh Johnson had 196 passing yards. Cameron Artis-Payne of the Renegades rushed for 99 yards, getting two touchdowns
The Clippers fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 114-140. Center Montrezl Harrell led the Clippers with 27 points and center Ivica Zubac made 11 rebounds. Four Memphis Grizzlies players scored over 20 points.
Although they had a strong first half, the Clippers lost 120-107 to the Utah Jazz.

USC celebrated the career of WNBA icon Tina Thompson by retiring her No. 14 jersey. She is currently the 5th all time leading scorer in the history of the Women’s basketball program.

Last night the LA Rams suffered a tough 45-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson made 5 touchdown passes. Jared Goff had 212 passing yards and Scored Robert Woods had 97 receiver yards.
The LA Clippers defeated the Boston Celtics 107-104 in an overtime thriller. Guard Lou Williams scored 27 points and guard Patrick Beverley made 16 rebounds. Boston forward Jayson Tatum scored 30 points
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Portland 107-101. Kawhi Leonard scored 18 points in the fourth quarter alone
