The stairs in the photograph may not appear excessively steep, but they are indeed a challenging ascent. These stairs were a fixture in my childhood home in Norway, built in the 1980s, and led to my bedroom. The steps are unusually narrow, requiring a sideways approach even in childhood, and the difficulty is amplified in adulthood, as one's feet struggle to find adequate space. The sensation is comparable to scaling a ladder, and the stairs consistently inspired a degree of apprehension throughout my youth. The lack of a railing, precluded by the narrow dimensions, meant that the wall was the sole recourse for support. It is fortunate that, despite the inherent dangers, no fatalities occurred. Additionally, our household included cats during our upbringing.

My fiancé and I bought a 3-story colonial home about 6 months ago. Basically everything is furnished besides a future nursey! I’m having trouble deciding what should go in this spot… help!! I was thinking a desk with a computer but it’s right next to a curved stairway.

I had a local customer from my shop on the Tedooo app scheduled to pick up their very urgent order. Shortly before she came, I used the bathroom and the lock failed and wouldn't open. I was home alone. My bathroom is upstairs so I knew no one would hear me calling. If her order wasn't so urgent (they were on their way to a wedding rehearsal and she messaged me on Tedooo to create something last minute), I may have been sitting there for another 5 hours to wait for my husband, but since I didn't have my phone with me, I had to break through my bathroom door and deliver her order. Now I'd need to find a DIY project on Tedooo to learn how this could be fixed.... My husband won't be getting me another door. What would you do?
