It’s 2026, and we are still having this conversation. 🗣️
Lately, we’ve been running into major production issues where our clients—specifically women of color—arrive on set only to find there is no one hired who actually knows how to work with their hair.

This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a massive oversight.

Productions: you need to be intentional about who you are hiring. If you are booking diverse talent, make sure your glam team has the actual skill and expertise to match. Everyone deserves to look and feel their best on set. Let's do better.

Should professional kids have a social media presence for acting? 🌟 While a natural and organic account can offer a glimpse into a child's personality and photography, a "stage parent" who's a bit too obsessive can be a turnoff. 🙅‍♀️

Can actors have different reps in different markets? 🎭 The short answer: It depends!

While commercial agents usually stick to their local region (think NYC/Northeast or LA/San Diego), theatrical representation is often handled by one agent nationwide. However, exceptions happen—especially if you come in with an existing relationship in another market.

In today’s industry, being resourceful is key! Whether it’s one agency covering multiple territories or individual reps in each city, make sure to have that conversation with your team.

Congratulations to the TWO new Ferrari Talent family members, Anthony Ortiz and TJ Minor on the release of their collaboration single “Lavender“!!

In this industry, impatience smells a lot like desperation—and that’s a major turnoff for collaborators. Own your journey, stay the course, and let your actions speak louder than your timeline.

Speaking on the things that irk casting director’s the most in the commercial world!

Hey actors! 🎬✨ Your social media isn’t just your personal highlight reel—it’s your resume too! 📱💼 In the commercial world, how you show up online can make or break your chances of landing that gig. Brands, agencies, and casting directors are lurking, checking if your vibe matches theirs. 🤔 So before you post, think: Does this reflect the image I want to project? 🌟 Keep your feed authentic, but also professional. Your dream role might just depend on it! 🚀🌈

"🌟 A little ‘background check’ prank for our FT Fam, (his handle should go here)Dylan Santos, turned into an unforgettable moment! 🎭✨ In a world where dreams are chased and big opportunities await, it’s always exciting when hard work pays off. Dylan typically books roles without much fuss, but this time, he set his sights on a 'big fish' car campaign —the “parking spot” he truly wanted! 🎉 I couldn’t be more thrilled to share the amazing news with him. Remember, every moment of anticipation is a step closer to realizing your dreams. Keep believing and keep acting, because the best is yet to come! 🚀💫 "
