Watching Supernatural with a first-time viewer is all fun and games until you can’t offer your usual resurrection reassurance.
Now they’re staring at you, you’re staring at the screen, and nobody’s having a good time.
Some deaths stick, sorry bud. I’m here for emotional support, but I also need emotional support. 🥲

Honestly, as someone who has never been particularly fond of John, I didn’t expect this to make me understand him quite as much as it did. Seeing the story from his perspective changes a lot, and while it certainly doesn’t excuse everything, it does make him feel far more human and far more complicated than he sometimes came across on the show.

And the amount of story sitting inside this journal is ridiculous. There is enough here for a genuinely heartbreaking season of Supernatural, especially with everything we know comes later for John, Dean and Sam. It would be painful, messy and probably one of the best seasons they could have made.

Several failed attempts, questionable decisions and an unreasonable amount of stubbornness later…

I FINALLY FIGURED OUT THE ANGEL TABLET 😭

It still needs new lights tomorrow and a few more details, but IT ACTUALLY LIGHTS UP.

Did I know what I was doing when I started this project? Absolutely not.

Did I refuse to give up until I somehow bullied clay into becoming an ancient celestial tablet? Obviously. 😂

Supernatural has once again convinced me that I can make things I have absolutely no business trying to make.

And honestly… Kevin Tran would either be proud of me or deeply concerned.
