The company takes a unique approach to acquiring music by digging deep to discover those special songs already produced and at a brand's disposal - music made from the heart and for art's sake.

Please welcome the latest additions to our team, Emelia & Jane!

Emelia grew up in Northeast LA, but it wasn’t until college that she discovered her two great obsessions that led her to music supervision: making films and playing in bands. Outside of work, she’s playing in music projects around LA, DJing at local bars, and can reliably be found at karaoke with friends.

Jane’s a people person, a connector, a music lover, a den mother, an industry vet, a New Yorker reluctantly residing in LA, and above all, a Sade fan. She spent her formative years building long-lasting relationships across agencies and brands and has established herself as an expert in production and creative partnerships.

Friends,

We’ll be honest with you. We had no idea what we were getting into when we started GEMS in 2011. We just wanted to share good music with good people.

Since that innocent, blissfully ignorant time, we now have 15 years of experience behind us, curating thousands of syncs for the world’s most beloved brands, side by side with the best co-workers we could have ever dreamed of.

We’re incredibly grateful to all of the clients that trusted us, the perpetually patient licensing community, our fellow supes, and the artists behind the amazing music.
