‘Stranger Things’ was the family show we needed

For Gen X and millennials who grew up in the 80s and early 90s when the internet was not part of our childhood, "Stranger Things" is the family show that we needed today. The show brought to life by the Duffer brothers and a cast that included Gen X screen queen Winona Ryder, the same actress that starred in the quintessential outsider highschool teen flick "Heathers" and the existential young adult dramedy "Reality Bites," was a show we could watch with our children, who have grown up in a digital age and let them have a taste of 80s childhood nostalgia....
