Originally released in July 2016, The Echocentrics was Adrian Quesada’s first true solo project.

The Echocentrics’ Echo Hotel, was inspired by Quesada’s life on the road; a record made with long desert drives in mind that sound like the b-side to a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack, offering a snapshot of life on the border in South Texas with songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

The celebration of two decades of one of Argentina's most influential indie rock bands. El Mató a un Policía Motorizado celebrates 20 years of musical evolution with ‘20 Aniversario En Vivo’, an album that revisits the band's origins (the album's 10 tracks mirror the band's self-titled 2004 debut, a foundational work that marked the band's beginning and left its mark on an entire generation of musicians). Each track retains the essence of its original version, but in the rawness of the live recording, it finds new textures, reflecting the band's pulse and sonic maturity.

From their roots in the Argentine underground to global recognition, the band continues to push the boundaries of indie rock with raw energy, heartfelt lyrics, and experimental guitar work.

In addition to the album's tracklist this release includes an audiovisual recording of the session, with interviews and never-before-seen moments from behind the scenes of the band. This release not only honors their past but also marks the next chapter of one of Latin America's most influential bands.

"20 years have passed, and although we've changed, there's something paradoxical: these songs are still there, reactivating and resonating in the same way. They haven't drifted away, but rather they keep connecting with something that is beyond the passage of time and even ourselves. ‘We filmed the video on a chilly afternoon, and my outfit didn’t provide much warmth. Being exposed to the cold made me feel the anguish in the song’s lyrics even more deeply. Fighting against the cold, both literally and symbolically, was a liberating experience—just like how I try to battle negative emotions through this song. We wanted to capture a place that could reflect the loneliness expressed in the song. We found a field with an abandoned house, and that’s where we decided to build the world of the song. The cross is, of course, a significant symbol in the video. It represents faith, both in something beyond myself and in my own strength” . - YADAM YADAM
