Filmed in Los Angeles:

A recipient of the California Film & TV Tax Credit, the romantic fantasy “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” is currently lighting up the big screen. Like most California-filmed features, production centered in Greater Los Angeles. Key LA filming locations include Le Conte Middle School in Hollywood, the vintage Alexandria Hotel in DTLA, and the Stone Crest neighborhood of Santa Clarita.

Now streaming on Hulu, the movie “Swiped” was filmed entirely in Greater Los Angeles. The high-rise aesthetic of DTLA provides an authentic backdrop for its startup storyline. College life scenes were shot at the charming Claremont Helen Renwick Library at Pomona College. Other locations include the suburban streets of San Gabriel and Altadena.

The Indie Horror film “Appofeniacs” premiered in North America this month and will show at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in October at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Filming took place in the residential Mid-City West neighborhood, including on the famous Melrose Ave.
