In a Cabin Master first, two former homeowners reach out to Chase and the crew after a Christmas storm dubbed "The Grinch" fell countless trees across central Maine. The smaller project: the YMCA camp of Maine on Lake Cobbossee had multiple trees destroy cabins around the property. And not five minutes down the lake, the Chadwick family’s screened in porch was crushed after a large tree clobbered their camp. Both camps desperately need the Cabin Masters right away. Will Chase and the team be able to help these homeowners restore their cabins before the peak of summer? Or will summer be stolen as well?

First time trying to cook with a wood-burning stove!
It was quite a hustle!
Finding firewood, setting up the tent, using magnesium rods and h**p ropes to start a fire (even brought a gas canister just in case), after three attempts, we finally got it lit. Next time, we won't need the gas canister.

Cooking with a wood-burning stove is much more interesting than using a gas canister. The kettle and lunchbox got all smudged black! People say this is called "patina," but I still prefer them to be cleaner, so it's a thorough wash when I get home. The wood-burning stove has a beautiful color after it's been used, leaving memories of each time! Finally, with the scent of smoke on me, I cleaned up the trash and headed home!
